The Library is using Zoom to facilitate presentations, discussions, and other programs on the Internet. If you’re new to Zoom, please click HERE to learn what Zoom is and how to use it to attend virtual Library programs. If you still have questions, please call the Reference Desk at 262.524.3682.
If you’ve never picked up holds at the Library before, finding your items is easy! Everything is filed alphabetically by the first two letters of your last name, followed by your first and middle initials. When you get to the Library, follow the signs to find the correct holds section. Then, look at the receipt sticking out of each item to help you find your holds. Once you locate your items, they can be checked out using our touchless self-checkout machines, or you can take them to the Special Services Desk. If you have any questions, a staff member will be happy to assist you.
Want to place holds or access your account without having to remember your library card number? Now you can! Setting up a username is easy and can be done from the comfort of home.
- A username may be used to log into your account in place of using your barcode number.
- Create a username by logging into your account, selecting “My Record,” and then clicking on “Change Logon.”
- Once you create a username, the system will send you an email confirming the change.
- Your username can be used interchangeably with your library card number to log into your account.
- Your username will NOT work for logging into OverDrive or Libby.
Please contact the Reference Desk at 262.524.3682 with any questions.
Exciting news! Starting today, there are no more loan limits on Library AV items, magazines, or pamphlets. What does that mean? Each Library card can have up to 125 items checked out on it from our collection. If you want to check out 125 DVDs, go ahead! Love CDs? Take home as many as you want! As long as you have 125 items or less checked out on your card, you can take home whatever materials you’d like. The only items that still have loan limits are: Laptops (1), Hotspots (1), Book Group Kits (2) and Launchpads (1). Please check with the Reference or Circulation Desks if you have any questions. The number of holds allowed per card is still 40.
If you owe fines of $5.00 or more, you can now pay them online! Just log into your CAFE account and click on “Pay Fines Now!” This option only appears if you owe $5.00 or more. A 5% service fee applies. You can also still pay at the Library, just like before.
