Donate your eclipse glasses at the Library.

Don’t know what to do with your eclipse glasses now that the eclipse is over? Bring them to the Library! We are working with a company called Eclipse Glasses USA to redistribute glasses for future eclipse events in other areas of the world. Many beneficiaries are children in countries that might not have easy access to these safety glasses. By redistributing them, we hope to provide educational institutions with the tools they need to offer their students a safe and enlightening eclipse viewing experience. Bring your glasses to our Public Services Desk by Friday, August 16 to share them with someone else.

Join us for an Art Reception – Saturday, April 13

Visit our new Seed Library!

The Library has added a Seed Library across from the Special Services Desk. A variety of flower, fruit, and herbs seeds are available for you to take home and enjoy. Each seed packet contains a small number of seeds so you can grow something new in your garden. There are also seeding squares, soil testers, and gardening books that can be checked out. Exercise your green thumb and pick up some seeds today. 🌱🪴

Seed packets do not need to be checked out, and we ask that you limit yourself to four envelopes. Don’t forget to share you growing experience with us by using #WPLSeedLibrary on your social media posts.

Explore our new digital resource – LOTE4Kids

Tax Payment Box

The City of Waukesha has placed a tax payment box outside the Library near our outdoor return. If you choose to make your tax payment at the Library, please place it into that box. We are not able to accept payment at our Public Services Desk or through our outdoor return. If payments aren’t placed in the tax payment box, we cannot guarantee that they will get to the City.
