Wii U Game Day

Drop in the Teen Zone after school on Tuesday, May 8 for an afternoon of Wii U gaming! Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. Snacks and gaming equipment will be provided.

Teen Manga Fest

Anime and manga lovers unite! Join us on Saturday, May 5 for the annual Teen Manga Fest. Manga artist Nick Katzfey will kick off the day with his workshop, “How to Make Your Own Comics.” Following that, there will be origami, Perler beads, button making, polymer clay, a raffle, and more! Come in cosplay for a chance to win a prize.

Journal Making

Come create and customize your own journals on Tuesday, April 10 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Teen Zone! Our new journals will be perfect for celebrating Poetry Month in April. Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. Snacks, supplies, and journals will be provided.

Tech Accessories

Celebrate Teen Tech Week in style by designing your own accessories for your favorite devices! Supplies will be set up in the Teen Zone on Tuesday, March 13 from 3:30-5:30 PM. Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. Snacks will be provided.

Anti-Valentine’s Day

Join us for our annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Party! Activities include Wii U games, duct tape, crafts, a pinata, and a raffle. Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. Snacks and supplies are provided.

Wii U Game Day

Drop in the Teen Zone for an afternoon of Wii U gaming on Tuesday, January 9 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.! Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. Snacks and gaming equipment will be provided.

Winter Celebration

Come celebrate Winter on Tuesday, December 12 in the Teen Zone from 3:30-5:30 p.m. There will be Wii U games, crafts and snacks! Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. Snacks, supplies and gaming equipment will be provided.

Mario Kart Tournament

Put your racing skills to the test in a Mario Kart Tournament! Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to attend the program on Tuesday, November 14 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Snacks and gaming equipment will be provided. No registration required. Teens who place first, second and third overall will receive a gift card!

Wild West Crafts

Drop by the Teen Zone on Tuesday, October 10 at 3:30 p.m. to create hanging horseshoes and dream catchers in celebration of True Grit, this year’s Waukesha Reads title! Snacks and supplies will be provided. Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to participate.

 

Games with Grit in Cutler Park

Help us kick off this year’s Waukesha Reads celebration, featuring Charles Portis’ True Grit, on Tuesday, September 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Cutler Park. Teens can try their hand at Ring Toss, Horseshoes, Ladder Golf, Dice and giant Tic-Tac-Toe. Teens in grades 7-12 are invited. The program will be held near the Les Paul Band Shell in Cutler Park.
