|Kerry began as the Manager of Children’s Services in April 2012. Some of her favorite books and authors for younger children are Tops and Bottoms by Janet Stevens and anything written by Mo Willems. She recommends Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman, My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George, and Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson for school age children, and the The Junkyard Wonders by Patricia Polacco for any age.
Spending time with her family, traveling, art and reading are some of her favorite things to do. She also enjoys taking long walks with Sawyer, her King Charles Spaniel.
|Miss Kaushalya has been working in children’s services for 14 years, two of those years at the Waukesha Public Library. She loves to recommend books and help children find the right book. Her favorite authors are Patricia Polacco and Janet Stevens. She likes to read all kinds of books especially historical fiction and Mystery books, listen to music and ride her bike. She can speak multiple Indian languages. She loves to spend time with her family and her super cute dog.|
|Mr. Chris enjoys storytelling, tall tales, and performing magic tricks for children. He likes to read about history, and Mark Twain is among his favorite people and authors. Outside the library Mr. Chris is a competitive runner, an avid salsa dancer, and travels to strange places around the world.|

|Kelli lives in Waukesha with her husband, two children and two cats. She has worked in several departments at the Waukesha Public Library for the last six years. She is a big fan of hilarious children’s books and she loves to share them with children at Storytime ! Kelli also enjoys performing on stage as a professional actress and singer.|
|Miss Michele began working in the Children’s Department in August 2014, after working as a library assistant for the School District of Waukesha for twelve years. Her favorite authors are Jerry Spinelli and Mo Willems, and the part of her job she enjoys most is helping children find that just-right book! In her spare time, Miss Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown children, sewing and gardening, and (of course!) reading.|
|Miss Rachel is new to the library in 2016 but has loved libraries her whole life. She has worked and volunteered many years in the university library system and a local school library. She loves to hear about your favorite books! Some of her favorite children’s books are the Harry Potter series, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Charlotte’s Web, The Hobbit, The Amulet of Samarkand, Charlie and the Chocolate factory and all Calvin and Hobbes. She especially likes books with interesting or detailed illustrations. Some of her favorite illustrators are K.Y. Craft, Jan Brett and Jill Barklem. She loves cozy mysteries, fairy tales and thrillers.
Miss Rachel lives in Waukesha with her husband, two amazing daughters and her cats, Orion and Luna. She likes to spend her free time reading, drinking coffee, knitting, crafting, baking and taking care of her small flock of chickens.
|Ms. Annie started at the Waukesha Public Library in 2015, but has been telling and reading stories all of her life. She has over 25 years of experience providing children’s programming. Annie likes sharing great authors and book recommendations with her young and young-at-heart friends. But she most enjoys hearing your book recommendations and why you enjoyed them. She has two beautiful daughters. The three of them love having adventures in the great outdoors, watching movies and eating cookies!|
|Miss Mitzi began working at the Waukesha Public Library in 2014 in circulation and is now focused in Children’s Services. She enjoys playing piano and organ, traveling, and reading. Her favorite adult book topics include astronomy and physics. As a retired elementary teacher, she always loves seeing new children’s literature and encourages children to explore all types of literature. Miss Mitzi is originally from New Glarus and appreciates her Swiss heritage. She feels fortunate to have a loving husband and two great adult children.|
