Accelerated Reader is widely used by area schools as a reading incentive and monitoring program. Scope out the AR level for books you plan to read.

Bookhive

BookHive contains hundreds of recommended book reviews in a variety of reading levels and interest areas. Users can search by author, title, reading level, interest area, number of pages, and even favorite illustrator.

Lexiles

An educational tool that uses a measure called a Lexile to match readers ability with books. Grade levels and reading levels are two different things. Lexiles measure a child's ability based on reading comprehension, rather than grade level.
